Job Posting
This position serves as a licensed behavioral health clinician with the City of Irving First Responders' Wellness Unit. Duties include responding to, assessing, triaging, and providing treatment and/or referrals for our first responders and their families; assisting the peer support teams by providing clinical oversight of CISM interventions; assessing behavioral health care needs of our first responders and their families experiencing crisis or immediate care needs; providing training/education as it pertains to first responders' wellness, and development of educational programs; and conducting active and assertive follow-ups to determine the outcome of referrals, providing additional advocacy as needed.Duties will also require flexibility, working non-traditional hours in environments with intensive crisis situations. A Master's degree or equivalent, with major course work in counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field, and three years of related experience in the mental health field, specifically related to working with first responders required.Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychology Associate (LPA), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or psychology license also required. Must have or be able to acquire Critical Incident Stress Management Certification; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained (Minimum); and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC).Bilingual (English / Spanish) beneficial.

PAY GRADE GG23 / FULL PAY RANGE $5,911 - $8,334 PER MONTH
