Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Public Finance Operation and Administration Professional to join our Public Finance team full-time, in-person, at our Minneapolis, MN office.

We are a national public finance investment banking franchise with a diversified business focused on middle market issuers and specialty sector expertise. Our core business is partnering with state and local governments, education sector leaders, not-for-profits, and private developers to raise capital for infrastructure projects through the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds. About the Role

This position will actively participate in facilitating bond transactions and related compliance activities, will interpret complex requests and anticipate what team members and clients need, contributing to efficient and effective processes and workflows.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages changing priorities with composure, exhibits exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills and demonstrates high standards of accuracy, discretion, and professional integrity, and prioritizes cross-team collaboration and high-touch customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Transaction Support: Partner with Public Finance banking teams to coordinate bond transactions from engagement through closing.
  • Data and Document Management: Collect, organize, and analyze data and information needed to complete transaction documentation and other deliverables.
  • Operational Efficiencies and Improvements: Proactively identify process gaps, resolve inconsistencies, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to presentations, RFP responses, and special projects, using critical thinking to develop comprehensive solutions.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Provide responsive, professional service to internal and external partners, using clear, effective communication.


Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-3 years in financial services, investment banking, legal or transaction support.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licensing: FINRA Series 50, 52, and 63 (or willingness to obtain).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability and willingness to integrate approved AI tools into daily workflows to drive productivity and process efficiency while maintaining data security.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to cross-team collaboration and high-touch customer service.


The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 to $100,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location, and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation, which will be part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
