What You Will Do:

The Public Diplomacy Program Assistant will support government efforts to combat antisemitism globally. The Public Diplomacy Program Assistant will coordinate events, draft communication materials, and analyze foreign public engagement to foster mutual trust and strengthen global relationships.
  • Tracking speaking invitations, working with event organizers, and clearing events/points for speaking and press requests
  • Drafting and coordinating distribution of social media account updates
  • Contributing to the development of public diplomacy strategies
  • Analyzing, and recommending/taking action on antisemitism issues in a specified regional and thematic portfolio
  • Liaising with Department stakeholders, posts, and external interlocutors
  • Drafting and clearing briefing papers, including remarks, talking points, scenarios, and background papers
  • Event and trip planning

What You Will Need:
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ONE (1) year of experience in communications, public affairs, event planning or administrative support
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Washington, DC

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
