Job DescriptionTLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our interdisciplinary outpatient team in Rockville, Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to provide psychological assessment, counseling, consultation, and collaboration within a well-established nonprofit organization serving neurodiverse individuals and their families.
Our psychologists work closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educational diagnosticians, counselors, and educators to support individuals and families across the lifespan. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations across the lifespan, from toddlers through older adults
- Assessing concerns related to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning, emotional and behavioral functioning, and developmental differences
- Writing comprehensive reports and providing feedback to families and schools
- Providing individual, family, and/or group counseling services
- Consulting and collaborating with other professionals within TLC's interdisciplinary programs
- Participating in case consultation and collaborative treatment planning
- Providing supervision and mentoring opportunities based on experience and licensure level
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000, depending on experience, licensure and responsibilities
Experience and SkillsQualifications for the Psychologist Include:
Required:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Counseling Psychology
- Current Maryland psychology license, or eligibility for Maryland licensure
- Experience conducting psychological assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Preferred:
- Experience evaluating autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities
- Interest in working with neurodiverse populations
- Experience with or interest in play therapy and working with younger children
Schedule Expectations
TLC Hours of Operation:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Full-time clinicians are expected to work at least two evenings per week until approximately 6:00 or 7:00 PM
