Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient team in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive behavioral health environment focused on delivering high-quality psychiatric care across the lifespan.

The ideal candidate is passionate about patient-centered mental health treatment, enjoys building therapeutic relationships, and values working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

This is an outpatient-only position with a strong focus on medication management, anxiety and depression treatment, and innovative interventional psychiatry services including TMS and Spravato.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
  • Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-up care
  • Treat a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, mood disorders, and behavioral disorders
  • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in treatment planning for patients receiving TMS and Spravato services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Provide telepsychiatry services as needed
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment options, and wellness strategies
