As a Propositions Manager, you'll help shape and deliver HSBC's Premier and International customer propositions in the US. You'll help define what we offer, who it's for, and why it matters, then work with local and global partners to set the growth strategy, deliver initiatives, measure outcomes, and continuously improve the customer experience.
You'll bring together customer insight, data, and market intelligence with strong stakeholder management to drive customer growth, improve satisfaction, and ensure our Premier and International propositions meet (and where possible exceed) global and US requirements and standards.
As a Propositions Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Help design and deliver the value proposition strategy for affluent and internationally minded customers through our Premier and International propositions
- Support proposition launches and ongoing enhancements (e.g., new benefits and features, customer journeys, servicing model, and communications)
- Partner with Data & Analytics to ensure the team's analytical needs are met, and translate insights into clear recommendations and actions
- Track performance of proposition initiatives (e.g., adoption, customer outcomes, commercial impact) and recommend actions to improve results
- Work with local and global stakeholders to deliver proposition initiatives at pace, collaborating with global proposition teams, Client Servicing, Client Lifecycle Management (CLCM), Marketing, and Customer Experience
- Across IWPB, collaborate with transactional products, Wealth, channels, sales and distribution teams to create joined-up engagement strategies that drive growth and profitability for Premier and International segments
- Ensure proposition activity is delivered in line with applicable policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Escalate potential risks in a timely way and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate them
You'll likely have the following to succeed in this role:
- Experience in financial services (banking/wealth preferred), with hands-on experience in customer/segment strategy, product/proposition strategy, consulting, marketing, and/or analytics
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insight into clear, actionable plans
- Confident communicator with proven project management and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams and (ideally) regions
- Comfortable working with data and disciplined about making evidence-based decisions
- Knowledge of retail banking and wealth management, with awareness of cross-border customer needs and relevant regulatory considerations
- Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strategy/consulting experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
