Job DescriptionAbout the RoleThe Proposals Manager owns end-to-end proposal development, leading cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, compliant proposals aligned with sales strategy.
Responsibilities1. End-to-End Proposal Execution- Independently manage standard proposals and RFPs from intake through submission.
- Coordinate inputs from Sales, Pricing, Contracts, and subject-matter experts.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and submission milestones.
2. Content Assembly & Compliance- Assemble proposal content using approved templates and content libraries.
- Ensure proposals fully address customer requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Identify gaps or risks and escalate appropriately.
3. Process & Quality Management- Apply proposal processes, standards, and best practices consistently.
- Ensure submissions meet quality, accuracy, and compliance expectations.
- Meet defined SLAs for proposal delivery.
4. Tools & Documentation- Use proposal management and document tools effectively.
- Maintain accurate proposal records, files, and status updates.
5. Stakeholder Communication- Partner with Sales on proposal requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Provide clear and proactive communication throughout the proposal lifecycle.
Experience and Qualifications- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
- Strong Excel proficiency, including pricing models and scenario adjustments
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- 4-7 years of experience in proposals, bid management, or commercial roles
- Demonstrated ownership of full proposal lifecycles in a CRO or similar environment
- Experience managing proposals or RFP responses end-to-end.
Salary Band - Proposals Manager: $90,000 to $115,000 USD - Salary offered will be based on candidates experience level.
