The RoleWinning work starts with a great story and a rock-solid plan. As a Proposal Delivery Manager, you will lead the full proposal lifecycle, from go/no-go and strategy through to content creation and writing, reviews, approvals and final submission. You will turn complex client requirements and cross-functional input into clear, persuasive, compliant proposals that showcase DCM's capabilities and help our sales teams win.
This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 3 days per week in our Toronto office. There is an added flexibility to work out of our Brampton location instead if preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Own the proposal from kickoff to finish line, leading RFP, RFI and other customer response projects through strategy, development, approvals and submission
- Read between the lines of client requirements, clarify deliverables and build practical project plans, timelines and milestones that keep every contributor on track
- Bring the win strategy to life by writing, editing and formatting compelling executive summaries, technical responses and supporting materials
- Partner with Sales and SMEs across the organization to gather the right information at the right time
- Turn technical and business input into clear, client-focused messaging that highlights DCM's value, differentiators and competitive advantages
- Keep quality high and surprises low by checking every submission for accuracy, consistency, readability, brand alignment, compliance and completeness
- Manage multiple proposals and competing priorities without losing sight of the details, the deadline or the bigger strategic picture
- Identify and communicate risks early, coordinate reviews and approvals, and deliver polished submissions through email and electronic procurement platforms
- Build smarter ways of working by maintaining reusable content, templates, best practices, proposal records and submission metrics, including win/loss data
- Stay curious about proposal trends, AI tools and new approaches that make our content sharper, our process faster and our submissions stronger
Skills & Experiences- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, bid management or technical writing within Sales, Marketing or Business Development departments
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a talent for making complex information clear, persuasive and easy to absorb
- Strong project management instincts, excellent attention to detail and the ability to calmly juggle multiple high-stakes deadlines
- Confident communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bring busy stakeholders together and keep work moving
- Experience working with sales teams and responding to RFPs and RFIs; public and private procurement platforms are an asset
- The ability to synthesize technical, operational and commercial information into a cohesive client story
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, plus strong document formatting and layout skills
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for content development, refinement and market research
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proposal management platforms such as Loopio, Qvidian, Responsive/RFPIO or Inventive is an asset

- Prior experience in print, business communications, marketing services or a related industry is an asset

Compensation$80,133 - $100,166 CAD per year
The compensation range listed reflects the expected compensation for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills and experience.
