Property ManagerToronto, ONThe OpportunityWe are looking for an individual that is passionate about property management. This person will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and controlling all aspects of the operation of the assigned portfolio.
This is an
onsite position located in Toronto, ON. What You Will Do- Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring the property is efficiently managed, well-maintained, and consistently presented to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures, regulatory compliance, and emergency response plans in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Conduct regular property inspections to monitor building conditions, operations, appearance, and service standards.
- Manage capital projects and leasehold improvements, including tendering, contractor coordination, and project oversight.
- Administer leases to ensure all contractual requirements are fulfilled and collaborate with Leasing to support leasing and occupancy targets.
- Monitor market conditions, competitors, business trends, and community initiatives that may impact property performance.
- Maintain strong tenant relationships through proactive communication, exceptional customer service, and effective issue resolution.
- Lead tenant satisfaction surveys, coordinating follow-up actions and initiatives to address tenant feedback.
- Manage property financial performance, including budgeting, revenue and expense control, monthly financial analysis, tenant billings, year-end adjustments, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare detailed monthly management and client reports, providing clear visibility into property performance and financial results
Who You AreKey Qualifications - Experience - 4+ years of related experience with a multiple-site portfolio, post-secondary courses in property management or a university degree, combined with a strong service ethic commitment.
- Computer Skills - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Yardi an asset
- Driver's License - Requires a valid driver's license and vehicle.
