Position description

The Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for a Project Scientist position at the Assistant, Associate, or full rank.

In this position, the candidate will work in the Andrea Hevener Lab and conduct basic science research, including studies on genetically engineered mouse models and cell lines. Candidates must have experience visualizing and quantifying cellular elements from transmission electron microscopy and confocal microscopy studies. Expertise in mitochondrial imaging and experience studying mitochondrial genome and crista regulation is required. A Ph.D. is required.
