Full Job Description
Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Quality Manager. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Vancouver, BC.

The successful candidate is a key member of our project delivery team, providing quality focus and guidance to our teams. This role ensures compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications, and drives a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with office and project management as the Quality focal point for all aspects of project delivery.
  • Build relationships with client counterparts, client operational and project personnel.
  • Promote and monitor adherence to company, client, and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct project assessments and surveillances.
  • Provide advice and support including investigations into unplanned quality events.
  • Promote and monitor adherence to company, customer, and legislative requirements.
  • Facilitate functional and project risk and lessons learned workshops, reviews, and discussions.
  • Communicate relevant and timely quality assurance information to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist projects and offices to understand quality assurance requirements.
  • Assist offices to maintain quality management systems fit for ISO 9001 certification.
  • Support Worley in creating a more sustainable world and a highly inclusive work environment.


What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:
  • Significant experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Industry.
  • Relevant Project Quality Management experience.
  • Understanding of commercial and strategic business drivers.
  • Stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience with continual improvement programs (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Total Quality Management, etc.).
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Quality Assurance and engineering project delivery.
  • Experience with engineering project delivery procedures and processes.
  • ISO 9001 training and experience.
  • Project Management Professional designation or equivalent.
  • Quality Assurance training.
  • Total Quality Management training.

People Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Establish direct working relationships and rapport with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedule, and costs.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered where appropriate. Professional Designation Preferred, Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), P. Eng or equivalent considered an asset. Significant experience required [a combination of operations, quality, construction, or project experience preferred].
