Based in Red Deer, this opportunity sits within WSP's Municipal Engineering and Land Development Group, where you will play a key role in shaping infrastructure that supports growing communities across Central Alberta. As a Project Manager, you will lead meaningful municipal projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver solutions that make a lasting difference.

Your Impact
  • Deliver municipal engineering and land development projects that strengthen communities and enhance infrastructure resilience across Central Alberta.
  • Manage the planning, design, and execution of water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway systems from concept through construction.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships with municipalities and public-sector partners.
  • Mentor and support emerging professionals, contributing to the growth of future municipal engineering talent.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk, and communications to ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to proposals and bids that help secure impactful municipal projects in the region.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Licensee in Engineering (P.L.(Eng.)) designation registered in Alberta.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in watermain, sanitary sewer, stormwater, and roadway design.
  • Strong understanding of construction administration and municipal project delivery processes.
  • Working knowledge of Alberta environmental standards, regulations, and approval processes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to engage with municipal clients throughout Central Alberta.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
