GFT is seeking a Project Manager, Utility Coordinator to join Transportation Practice in North Carolina! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring partial attendance at ourWilmington, NC office.

What youll be challenged to do:

As a Project Manager, Utility Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to expand your career by taking on new challenges and managing various transportation projects, federal, state and local. Your role will involve leading various projects, enhance processes, and collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and senior-level professionals to ensure seamless project execution and prepare for future leadership positions.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare project management plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all discipline leads, department heads, other project managers, project controls staff, and construction personnel to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure a high level of technical quality on the projects through complex problem-solving and innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and provide leadership training to project staff to support their professional growth and skill advancement.
