Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Manager to join our project site in Horse Canyon, Nevada.

DESCRIPTION:

As a Project Manager at Frontier-Kemper, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and successful execution of construction projects. This role oversees all operational, financial, administrative, and contractual aspects of the project to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

The Project Manager provides strategic planning, leadership, and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to minimize impacts to schedule, budget, quality, and operations.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of project execution, including construction operations, engineering, budgeting, scheduling, quality, and safety.
  • Plan, organize, and lead project teams by staffing and developing key field and office personnel.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards consistent with corporate goals and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, owners, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project performance through leadership of field supervision and project staff to ensure schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Identify and resolve major project issues, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and maintain project progress.
  • Lead project meetings and represent the company in client, partner, labor strategy, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the project, including contract administration, billing, forecasting, cost control, change orders, equipment utilization, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, project specifications, company policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of underground construction experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project finance, construction management, and project execution.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale heavy civil, tunneling, or underground construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of tunneling and underground construction means, methods, and industry best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry standards, contract administration, project controls, and construction management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
