Full Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Professional Services team in Chicago to support the growth we're experiencing.

Our Professional Services project teams implement Sievo's solutions for our customers- building integrations to customer and third-party data sources, enriching data, and delivering world-class procurement analytics. This means working with major global customers and their transactional data, as well as third-party providers of market index, risk, sustainability, diversity, and CO2 emissions data.

In this role, you will both manage a portfolio of implementation projects and lead a team of solution consultants and data engineers. You'll set the direction, keep customers and internal stakeholders aligned on the plan, and support your team's day-to-day growth and performance.

We look for people who are passionate about data and analytics, enjoy solving complex procurement problems alongside customers, bring intellectual curiosity, and have a bias for action- while also knowing when to switch off. Join us for a front-row seat on this growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

Managing Projects:
  • Shape and set up implementation projects (context, objectives, scope & approach), ensuring feasibility, estimating effort, and involving all relevant stakeholders (customers, Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer teams)
  • Own end-to-end project management: schedule, scope, budget, financials, quality, risk, issues, and change requests
  • Track and communicate project progress and maintain project documentation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, third parties, vendors, and partners
  • Coordinate with Professional Services team leads in Chicago, Bucharest, and Helsinki to ensure proper resourcing
  • Report and escalate resourcing or project issues as needed

Leading the Team:
  • Act as the first point of contact for your team members, including approving hours and time off and supporting long-term leave needs
  • Manage, train, and coach team members day-to-day; provide both project-based and informal feedback
  • Estimate and manage team workload, and organize team events
  • Support target-setting, development discussions, and career development conversations for your team

Supporting Others & Developing Sievo:
  • Support other project managers and colleagues across Sievo
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve how Sievo works; lead and participate in internal development initiatives
  • You're encouraged to question the status quo and speak up - we believe development comes from constructive challenge

What We're Looking For
  • Solid project management experience
  • People leadership and management experience
  • Technical understanding and/or hands-on experience with software implementation (e.g., ERPs, SQL, Qlik Sense)
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, balanced with the ability to take time off
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Project management experience in the SaaS industry
  • Experience leading multicultural teams
  • Familiarity with procurement as a business function
  • Understanding of finance and project financials

Benefits & Compensation:
  • Unlimited PTO (minimum 25 days off per year, up to 4 consecutive weeks off)
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance plans
  • FSAs, HSAs
  • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance
  • Life Insurance / AD&D, and more electable benefits
  • 401k with a 4% match
  • Home internet, mobile phone plan, and home office stipend
  • Commuter benefits
