Full Job Description
As Tesla rapidly expands, with upcoming production launches in Austin and Berlin Gigafactories, increased production in Shanghai and Fremont, and global market expansion, we seek individuals capable of challenging conventional thinking and fostering standardization across the field to sustain this growth.
The Service Project Manager will address pivotal challenges within our Service organization, ensuring adherence to standards by dismantling silos, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing crucial field feedback to support partners.
This role involves translating insights from one project to the next while driving process improvements across all Service functions. Ideal candidates will ensure quality standards are met and deliver cost-efficient, scalable solutions to challenges impacting the customer experience. You will be measured on your ability to execute key service initiatives, including but not limited to production planning, shop loading, scheduling, and mobile service.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for key service initiatives in collaboration with the Territory's Support Team
  • Maintain a nuanced balance between business, financial, and customer experience impacts through a expert understanding of operational metrics
  • Efficiently coordinate resources, offer clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks across the team
  • Execute key service initiatives including production planning, shop loading, scheduling, and mobile service
  • Consolidate and provide feedback to key stakeholders and the central support team, conducting project evaluations and post-mortems, and driving process changes based on learnings
  • Represent the Service domain in meetings with regional leadership, offering updates on program status, highlighting potential risks, outlining proposed solutions, and suggesting mitigating steps
  • Regularly visit sites to review activities, implement quality and customer service standards, resolve problems, identify trends, escalate challenges, provide feedback to the Territory's Support Team, and assist in new location openings by emphasizing key needs for successful service operations setup


Requirements
  • Strong Tesla Sales, Service or Delivery background, experience in operations leadership preferred
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a dedicated and ethical approach to business operations
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships, acting as a well-respected and trusted partner with whom others want to work
  • Expertise in Tesla systems and reporting tools
  • Ability to travel across the country as needed and availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license required

      $68,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
