Job MissionAs the Project Manager for Redken Global Marketing (DMI) - Styling Category, you will own category management and end-to-end new product development (NPD). Operating in a highly global environment, you will drive brand strategies, orchestrate flawless product launches, and collaborate closely with international markets and cross-functional teams to maximize business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Product Launch Orchestration: Drive new launches from concept to "on-counter" stage. Act as project leader by writing briefs, managing internal piloting tools (Magellan, Tag, Opera, etc.), and partnering with R&I/Development teams to ensure flawless operational execution.
- End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle and franchise maintenance, including planning, execution, and comprehensive post-mortem analysis.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders (Development, R&I, C&C, Local Marketing, and Education) to guarantee project alignment.
- Strategic Insights & Market Intelligence: Analyze the competitive landscape, category trends, pricing, and channel shifts to translate market insights into actionable growth opportunities.
- Integrated Marketing Support: Partner with Consumer & Communication (C&C) teams to shape the marketing mix, ensuring launch content resonates powerfully with target consumers and stylists.
- Global Stakeholder & Market Engagement: Maintain regular communication with key international markets to share best practices, support local go-to-market strategies, and optimize performance.
- Financial & Business Performance Tracking: Monitor financial KPIs (gross margin, sales incrementality) and prepare business result presentations, sales reports, and trend analyses.
The Ideal Candidate / Qualifications- Experience: 4+ years of experience in product development and brand management within the beauty industry.
- Creative & Technical Acumen: Conceptual thinker able to translate technical and trend inspirations into consumer-relevant storytelling and claims; strong tactile/aesthetic evaluation skills for cosmetic products.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to interpret complex market and consumer data.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong sense of brand and business ownership, highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Communication: Proactive, confident, and highly assertive with excellent relationship-building skills to influence regional and local teams effectively.
