Job Description
Project Manager - Integrations & ImplementationsPCI Project Managers oversee a portfolio of client-facing projects ranging from moderate to highly complex engagements, including API integrations, ERP implementations, and strategic consulting initiatives. Project Managers are responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, facilitating project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that meet client business objectives.
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from kickoff through go-live and project closure.
ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Delivery- Manage multiple concurrent integration, implementation, and consulting projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource schedules.
- Coordinate project activities across clients, consultants, developers, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers.
- Drive accountability for project deliverables and timelines across all stakeholders.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, requirements gathering sessions, status meetings, and solution workshops.
Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary client-facing representative for assigned projects.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and next steps in a clear and professional manner.
- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
- Manage client expectations regarding scope, timelines, and project deliverables.
Integration & Implementation Coordination- Coordinate the delivery of API integrations, ERP implementations, and related technical solutions.
- Partner with integration consultants and developers to ensure project requirements are understood and executed successfully.
- Track testing, validation, deployment, and go-live readiness activities.
- Ensure project documentation, requirements, decisions, and action items are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource & Portfolio Management- Assist in project forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation across multiple engagements.
- Coordinate project transitions when resources are reassigned or onboarding to new engagements.
- Support prioritization of consultant workloads to align with client commitments and business objectives.
- Escalate resource conflicts and project risks as necessary.
Scope & Financial Management- Monitor project budgets and effort against planned estimates.
- Identify and communicate scope changes, additional client requests, and potential billable work.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage project profitability and client satisfaction.
- Support project forecasting and revenue planning activities.
Team Leadership- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to project teams.
- Foster collaboration between consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and performance development of team members.
- Review project-related time tracking and resource utilization information.
Qualifications- 5+ years of project management experience leading client-facing technology, software implementation, or systems integration projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings with executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Experience with API integrations, data integrations, ERP systems, or enterprise software implementations preferred.
- Experience with Deltek products, including Costpoint, Vantagepoint, or Maconomy, preferred.
- Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms preferred.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are a plus.
