METCOR/LSI has a need for a highly motivated
Project Manager to lead a team of training professionals in the design, development, and delivery of training materials for federal employees.
This is a full-time, remote role offering a long-term opportunity for growth within an established organization. Duties and Responsibilities in the Project Manager role:- Lead small teams of Instructional Designers, Developers, Technical Writers, and Instructors
- Hands-on participation and leadership in training design, development, coordination, and delivery activities
- Support the creation of project management plans and schedules
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
- Provide direction and feedback to teams and individuals to improve performance
- Perform quality control reviews of a variety of documents for peers or other team members
- Serve as a customer and subject matter expert (SME) liaison
- Support for internal company operations and initiatives
Required Skills and Abilities for the Project Manager role:- 3+ years of project management experience in the training field
- Experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) to include instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and web-based training design and development
- Experience leading small teams and interfacing with clients
- Experience with the ADDIE model of Instructional Systems Design
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
- Ability to travel as needed
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and desire to learn and teach others
Education and Experience for the Project Manager role:- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree in a related field or ISD certificate desirable
- PMP certification desired, not required
Physical Requirements of the Project Manager role:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Compensation- $95,000 - $120,000 annually
