Qualifications

• 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or construction science (or equivalent training/experience)
• 3-5 years of solid experience in construction design, finance, and management
• OSHA-30 certification (must obtain before 6 months of hire if not already certified)
• Proven skills in project management including documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, change order pricing, and negotiations
• Strong understanding of corporate/industry practices and their impact on project activities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and MS Office skills

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned mechanical projects in collaboration with the project superintendent
• Evaluate project scope and coordinate staffing with regional heads and superintendents
• Set project objectives and performance standards aligned with corporate policy
• Engage with clients and A/E contacts to ensure smooth construction scheduling
• Prepare, negotiate, and issue subcontracts to maintain project efficiency
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to meet deadlines and budget
• Manage project financials to ensure profitability and strong client relationships
