Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT project management services to support various DT/EA/CST Portfolio and Product Teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish and maintain structured processes to engage with Product Teams throughout the entire product lifecycle from planning through deployment and ongoing support
- Advise Product Teams on operational requirements including infrastructure needs, security compliance, monitoring capabilities, and support considerations
- Develop, maintain, and update deployment readiness checklists ensuring Product Teams adhere to all required operational activities prior to production deployment
- Facilitate regular collaboration sessions between Enterprise Operations and Product Teams, aligning operational requirements with development objectives
- Conduct pre-deployment reviews with Product Teams, validating readiness against established criteria and documenting issues for resolution before go-live
- Provide post-deployment support including proactive monitoring, performance assessment, and immediate remediation of issues impacting users
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with project schedules and communicating status to stakeholders
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and infrastructure to ensure seamless project execution
- Apply project management expertise to resolve complex coordination challenges with latitude in developing innovative methodologies and presenting solutions to project delivery problems
Qualifications:
Required –
- Bachelor's degree + 4 years of experience in related fields, such as project management, IT project coordination, product management, IT operations, or program support; equivalencies considered.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Proven experience with IT project management, product lifecycle management, and coordination between development and operations teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of deployment readiness processes, operational requirements analysis, and pre-deployment validation
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management principles and collaboration between product teams and enterprise operations
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to coordinate across multiple teams and ensure alignment on operational requirements
Desired –
- Prior experience supporting federal agencies, especially the Department of State
- Project management certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies and facilitating collaboration between development and operations teams
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and experience with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management platforms

$78,700 - $165,200
