About this Role:

Consertus is seeking a Project Manager IV (TDIP Low Voltage Systems Integrator) to support Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the Terminal Development & Improvement Program (TDIP). This role serves as the low voltage/IT systems integration subject matter expert responsible for driving and overseeing the design and execution of IT, special systems, and innovations across multiple terminal projects.

The Project Manager IV will act as the primary IT liaison and airport/owner representative, working closely with LAWA Information Management & Technology (IMT) executives and system owners, airline partners, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure consistent coordination, integration, testing, and commissioning of terminal and building systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the LAWA/IMT representative responsible for directing and managing IT scope implementation.
  • Act as primary liaison with CBP and TSA for IT infrastructure and integration requirements.
  • Review and validate IT scope costs for implementations and system integrations.
  • Oversee buildout and commissioning of:
  • IT rooms and networks
  • Horizontal and backbone cabling
  • Coordinate comprehensive migration, integration, and commissioning activities with contractors and IMT system owners.
  • Lead integration workshops through deployment and final commissioning of terminal systems including:
  • Passenger processing systems
  • CCTV
  • Access control (ACAMS)
  • Flight information systems
  • Baggage handling systems
  • Public address systems
  • WiFi
  • Aircraft guidance (VDGS)
  • Emergency notification
  • Ramp services management systems
  • New IT innovations
  • Lead integration workshops through deployment and final commissioning of building/mechanical systems including:
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Lighting control systems
  • Power metering & controls
  • Conveyance monitoring
  • FMCS (including at the central utility plant)
  • Coordinate with LAWA cyber security team and contractor IT system providers to ensure solutions meet LAWA security requirements.
  • Support planning and sequencing of construction activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities.
  • Ensure work is performed and inspected per the latest approved plans/specs, including changes, submittals, and RFIs.
  • Develop and execute action plans to address potential delays or major scope changes.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage closeout activities for IT systems ensuring timely completion of documentation and efficient project closeout.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment above industry standards.


Minimum Qualifications

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related technical field.
  • 15+ years of experience, preferably supporting airport projects.
  • Experience on projects $100M+ in value.
  • Experience with delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, Design + CMAR, and Design-Build.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and working knowledge of industry practices/regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with digital content/document management systems and airport IT systems


Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant professional licensure and/or certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
  • System integrator-level expertise across airport terminal low voltage/IT systems including:
    • Passenger processing / terminal management systems
    • Baggage handling systems
    • Building automation systems
    • Lighting control systems
    • Aircraft guidance / ramp management systems
    • Network systems and IT infrastructure


Working Hours & Location: Full-time and exempt role
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM -5:00 PM.


Compensation Range: $212,160 - $220,480
