The Project Manager IV is a principal-level project leader responsible for the most complex, strategic, and enterprise-critical projects across Nomad GCS. This role operates with broad authority, advanced business judgment, and a high degree of independence to lead major customer projects, integrated portfolios, and cross-functional initiatives with significant operational, financial, contractual, and customer impact. The PM IV serves as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor to executive leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders; establishes project governance and decision frameworks; drives PMO maturity; and mentors Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Project Managers. This position requires executive-level communication, expert project and portfolio governance, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead through ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex manufacturing constraints.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the organization's most complex customer projects, enterprise portfolios, and strategic initiatives with high visibility, significant financial impact, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Translate business strategy into executable project roadmaps, governance models, resource plans, and measurable outcomes that align with corporate goals, customer commitments, and operational capacity.
• Establish and lead executive-level project governance, including portfolio dashboards, decision gates, escalation paths, risk reviews, milestone health reporting, and corrective action forums.
• Serve as a principal escalation point for senior leadership, customers, and key stakeholders on project risk, scope, schedule, cost, quality, contract performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and coach Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Project Managers; model advanced project leadership practices and support capability-building across the PMO.
• Lead systemic risk identification and mitigation across projects; develop scenario plans, recovery strategies, and executive decision recommendations for high-impact issues.
• Own or guide complex project budgets, margin protection efforts, cost performance reviews, ROI analysis, and financial forecasting in partnership with Finance and functional leaders.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Executive teams to remove roadblocks and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead or support contract strategy, scope definition, milestone structuring, statement-of-work enforcement, change control, and commercial negotiations for complex customer projects.
• Represent Nomad GCS in high-stakes customer communications, executive reviews, difficult conversations, and strategic negotiations while protecting business interests and strengthening customer trust.
• Architect and continuously improve PMO standards, templates, KPIs, reporting practices, governance routines, and tools; institutionalize best practices across teams and projects.
• Influence business planning, capacity planning, product/project prioritization, and operational readiness by providing data-driven insight into project demand, constraints, risk, and resource needs.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Nomad's product lines, engineering interfaces, procurement constraints, production flow, and manufacturing realities to anticipate problems and ensure technically sound execution.

Basic Knowledge Desired:
• Expert-level proficiency with project management software, portfolio tracking systems, dashboard/reporting tools, and disciplined project control methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio management requirements including scheduling, critical path management, earned value concepts, financial analysis, resource allocation, change control, and executive reporting.
• Expert understanding of project management best practices, PMO governance, risk management, contract/SOW controls, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of engineer-to-order/manufacturing environments, cross-functional production constraints, customer-facing program execution, and operational tradeoff management.

Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and is occasionally required to sit.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.

Working Environment:
• Fast-paced environment, open-concept office area, interacts regularly with Production.
• The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.
• The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time, which will be provided.
• The employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals that will require the employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that SDS.
• All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times in manufacturing areas. The employee will be required to wear provided safety eyewear throughout the performance of their duties.
• This position requires working off company premises due to traveling for clients & other business needs; travel requirement at least 20%.

Qualifications & Experience:
• BA / BS degree in Business, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Management, or related field strongly desired; advanced degree or equivalent senior-level experience preferred.
• PMP certification strongly preferred; PgMP, PMI-ACP, Lean, Six Sigma, or other advanced project/program management credential a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience, including leadership of complex customer projects, multi-project portfolios, cross-functional initiatives, and process development/execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, influence without direct authority, communicate with executive stakeholders, manage high-risk escalations, and drive measurable business outcomes.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in the description may be substituted for the above requirements.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
