Project Manager - IndustrialLocation:St. Louis, MOPosition Description:We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role supports complex industrial projects, including manufacturing, food & beverage facilities, as well as mission-critical data centers from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution in terms of budget, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can guide cross-functional teams, build strong client relationships, and drive accountability across all phases of the project.
Responsibilities- Lead the direction, execution, and financial performance of assigned construction projects
- Build and mentor strong, motivated project teams while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage all project costs, forecasting, pay applications, and profitability strategies
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules; communicate milestones to all partners
- Lead change order processes, subcontractor buyouts, and contract execution according to established timelines
- Proactively identify project risks and provide creative, client-focused solutions
- Maintain and update site logistics and build plans to meet constructability and performance goals
- Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld in alignment with PARIC and OSHA guidelines
- Foster strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partners to ensure satisfaction and success
- Mentor and support professional development of direct reports
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of contract terms, cost management, scheduling, and construction processes
- Proficiency with project management software and job cost forecasting tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:- Proven ability to resolve complex project challenges creatively
- Experience with subcontractor negotiation and dispute resolution
- Familiarity with scheduling software and BIM tools
