Project Manager with federal construction and environmental experience to join our growing team. This role with work On-Site and be expected to travel to for job-site visits and job walks on a daily basis.
Essential Function:- Proficient Knowledge of Quality Control (QC)Program
- Must understand private client and/or government documentation requirements
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met
- Understands construction sequencing
- Develops and enforces safety policies and procedures
- Reads and understands the Accident Prevention Plan and executes the plan to include all documentation
- Has a working knowledge of OSHA, private client safety requirements, as well as the Corps of Engineer safety manual/requirements
- Knows and understands infection control standards and methods
- Trust but verify
- Ensures all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP
- Suspect and inspect
- Proper use of the deficiency log. Performs timely inspections and uses the deficiency log to have a 0-punch list project
- Identify and resolve problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP
- Communication skills Written/Verbal both upstream and downstream within KOMAN and at all levels external to KOMAN
- Effectively Conduct Owners meeting to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions
- Continually working to develop Leadership and Delegation skills
- Can assemble and develop project / leadership teams
- Prepares budgets and understands the "Bluefolder" process and can coach others on the process
- Understands and is proficient in ViewPoint, and can coach others on the process
- Works with the Accounting team on AP/AR related tasks
- Write and execute subcontracts and the scope of work
- Scope and price construction change orders
- Manage schedule, close out and job cost
- Develops monthly progress reports to the customer
- Develops Monthly Risk Reports
- Manages the submittal process
- Proactively manages and mitigates risk
- Basic Understanding of LEEDS and can implement the LEED requirements
Education/Certifications:5 years' experience in Construction Project Management. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 1-2 years' experience working on federal government contracts strongly preferred. These requirements may change based on the requirements of a contract and the Project Manager may be labelled a different type of position to accommodate such requirements.
- CoE CQM Certification -
- OSHA 30
- First Aid / CPR / AED
- EM 385-1-1 Certificate
- Additional certifications may be required depending on the contract

- MS Projects and/or P6 scheduling programs
- MS Office/Computer skills
- Capable of defining roles and responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
