Full Job Description
The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for assigned projects regarding our Public Safety products. These projects may involve the implementation of a combination of software, hardware, and services within the organization. This role is responsible for the successful on-time completion of projects and for managing interactions between different internal departments, as well as clients and vendors. This role works with minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Work performed in this role will directly impact the productivity and effectiveness of the project team and resulting in customer satisfaction. This role serves as the primary contact for our clients throughout their Public Safety software implementation projects.

Job Duties Include:
  • Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects.
  • Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project.
  • Subject-matter expert knowledge of the implementation process and contractual language.
  • Leads technical discussions between product and operations on process improvement for specific modules.
  • Drives and refines the process.
  • Assists other PMs on escalations when needed.
  • Maintains current and identifies new project management tools and/or software to increase productivity.
  • Leads large group meetings on process and product.
  • Displays good communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree with PMP and/or CSM certifications preferred
  • Experience in project management and implementation processes and methodologies (including but not limited to PMBOK and SCRUM)
  • Proven track record contributing, creating, and implementing project management processes and methodologies
  • Experience and proficiency in deploying, configuring, and/or managing various PM tools for the management of schedules, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts, and revenue
  • Must be able to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes
  • Must be able to manage a strategic portfolio including high revenue engagements with little to no supervision
  • Public Safety experience a plus!
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%


CJIS Clearance

A required part of the onboarding process for this role involves obtaining CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance-a critical credential for safeguarding public safety data. As part of the process, a comprehensive background check will be conducted, and please note that U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is generally required to obtain CJIS clearance.
