As a Project Manager II within the Project Management team at JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines within the Credit Proposal CoE. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and Credit Proposal managers to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

You will develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. You will also consult with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, while setting and continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders while delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support operational readiness and business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Consult with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders while delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans and define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in project management: Proven experience in managing projects within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies to effectively manage and deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and clients.
  • Proficiency in project management software: Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in financial services or banking industry: Prior experience in a similar industry to understand the specific challenges and requirements of managing projects within a financial institution.
