Project Manager - HealthcareWhat this job involves:As a Project Manager for our Healthcare team, you will serve as a dedicated Owner's Representative, guiding complex infrastructure projects from concept to completion. This position requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems and sophisticated client-facing skills to champion our clients' interests.

You will act as the central point of communication, translating intricate technical details into clear, strategic actions for all project stakeholders.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Serve as the owner's primary advocate and liaison, fostering collaboration between the client, design teams, contractors, and all project stakeholders.
- Manage overall project performance, including scope, schedule, and budget, to ensure successful delivery against key milestones.
- Provide expert technical oversight for mechanical (HVAC, medical gas, plumbing) and electrical (power distribution, emergency power) infrastructure systems.
- Review design documentation, technical submittals, and shop drawings to confirm compliance with healthcare facility requirements and project specifications.
- Monitor construction progress on-site, verifying that installations meet quality standards and design intent.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and budget overruns.
- Lead project meetings, delivering clear and concise progress reports to executive stakeholders and clinical staff.
- Negotiate with contractors and vendors to protect the owner's interests and achieve favorable outcomes.
Required qualifications:- Substantial experience managing healthcare facility projects, preferably from an owner's representative or similar consultative perspective.
- A strong technical background in mechanical systems (HVAC, medical gas, plumbing) and/or electrical systems (power distribution, emergency power, lighting, low-voltage).
- Proven success in a client-facing role, with the ability to lead meetings, present to stakeholders, and build strong professional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- A thorough understanding of the unique operational requirements of healthcare environments, including infection control, critical systems redundancy, and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen focus on quality and client satisfaction.
Preferred qualifications:- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Direct experience with mission-critical infrastructure upgrades, particularly those requiring phased construction in occupied healthcare facilities.
- Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or LEED credentials.
- In-depth familiarity with The Joint Commission standards, FGI Guidelines, NFPA codes, and other healthcare-specific regulations.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning processes for complex healthcare mechanical and electrical systems.
Schedule: This is a Monday-Friday role; however, schedule flexibility is essential to support the operational needs of the healthcare environment.

Estimated compensation for this position:125,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
