Project Manager

Position Location: New York, NY

Reports: Senior Project Manager, Director, Project Management

Summary: The Project Manager will work as part of the integrated team managing patient branded assets. This position works collaboratively with the M+P account, strategy, social, digital, creative and OMC production teams, as well as partner agencies and external vendors. Assignments may include print, CRM, event materials, social, digital display, videos and websites. The Project Manager keeps all team members informed of the status of their respective jobs and ensures all jobs are following the agency's internal processes. The PM will assist with mentoring/training any new Jr. Project Managers where applicable.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop timelines with input from relevant departments
  • Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes (must maintain accurate timelines throughout the life of a job)
  • Monitor jobs and alert internal team of possible delays/risks and assure open communication among team members
  • Development and maintenance of Gantt charts in partnership with account services
  • Route jobs through all relevant departments and secure sign off at all stages of the job
  • Develop and distribute the hot sheet and end-of-day hot sheets by 9:30 am and 4pm respectively
  • Coordinate and run daily hot sheet meetings
  • Develop knowledge of Client's process/procedures and the people involved
  • Demonstrate ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects
  • Remain calm during high pressure situations
  • Ensure that all materials produced are accurate by assuring that the quality control steps are not skipped in the agency process
  • Help develop ideas to make the project management department, and the agency run more efficiently
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a project from requirements gathering and discovery, documentation of specs, creative development, and oversight of development/production to QA and project launch
  • Work closely and integrate with Project Managers at partner agencies.
  • Understand core technologies related to the development of digital assets
  • Be the key contact to communicate technical recommendations, digital dependencies and any possible limitations to internal teams and clients
  • Contribute to the documentation of business requirements and functional specs for all client assets
  • Partner with Account team to manage the brand's Teams channel


Requirements:
  • 3+ years of solid project management at an agency or in-house. Project experience should include print, CRM, event/summit materials, social, digital display and website work.
  • Pharma experience preferred
  • Subpart H experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-manage time according to deadlines
  • Ability to change priorities and pivot to emerging urgent tasks
  • Proficient writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with design software and content management systems
  • Experience with Workfront preferred


90,000-100,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
