As our Project Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from implementation phase through to completion. Ensure projects are safety compliant
, completed on time and delivered within budget in accordance with the specifications and scope of work.
Position Overview: - Provides input on execution phases of a project to ensure that the client requirements are met.
- Responsible for the overall management of the project including production of purchase orders, subcontracts, equipment, insurance, permits and bonds.
- Collaborates with the Project Planner, Project Design Engineer, and outside consultants on specified project scheduling and drawing requirements.
- Initiates conflict resolution with subcontractors, suppliers and employees when necessary.
- Implements change requests from the client or as required for project completion.
- Serves as primary project contact liaises with the client from the start of the project to completion, including building inspections.
Qualifications Needed: - Post-secondary education in the field of engineering OR minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Coordinator/Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Understand the fundamental business principles including financial, legal, and organizational aspects
- Professional communicator, offering creative solutions while managing critical project details.
- Experience using MS Office and project management software. Experience using Autodesk Forma/ACC or Primavera P6 is considered an asset.
