THE ROLE: As a Program Manager for Firmware Architecture and AI initiatives, you will drive end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs spanning firmware architecture, and AI-driven development workflows. This role is responsible for orchestrating delivery across distributed engineering teams, ensuring alignment between architecture, firmware development, validation, and emerging AI-based solutions.
You will partner closely with firmware architects, firmware development, validation, and AI innovation teams to enable scalable, high-quality solutions for next-generation server and DC GPU products. A key focus will be driving execution rigor, improving development efficiency through AI-enabled workflows, and ensuring alignment across globally distributed teams.
THE PERSON: The ideal candidate has strong program management fundamentals combined with experience in low-level systems software (firmware, drivers, SOC platforms) and exposure to AI/ML-driven engineering workflows. You are comfortable operating in highly matrixed environments, driving alignment without direct authority, and bringing structure to complex, architecture-led initiatives.
You have a track record of successfully delivering technically complex programs in fast-paced environments and can effectively bridge gaps between architecture, development, validation, and emerging AI innovation efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drive execution of firmware architecture for Server and DCGPU initiatives, ensuring alignment across architecture, development, validation, and platform teams
- Lead program management for AI-focused initiatives - including dashboard management, scheduling, prioritization, and execution tracking
- Establish and maintain scalable program structures, including integrated schedules, dependency mapping, resource forecasting, and risk management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across global locations (North America and Asia) to ensure alignment on deliverables, milestones, and execution priorities
- Drive clarity and accountability across architecture-driven workstreams that may span multiple organizations, programs, platforms, and execution teams
- Identify execution gaps, risks, and dependencies early; proactively drive mitigation strategies and escalate where necessary
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into program health, readiness, and key metrics
- Improve execution efficiency by introducing structured processes, tools, and AI-enabled insights into program tracking and delivery
- Facilitate cross-team communication, decision-making, and issue resolution for complex, interdependent technical initiatives
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Strong program management experience within systems software, firmware, or SOC/platform development environments
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with architecture, firmware, and hardware interactions
- Familiarity with server platforms, data center GPU architectures, or high-performance computing environments
- Experience supporting or driving AI/ML-based engineering initiatives
- Demonstrated success operating in matrixed organizations with distributed, global teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
- Experience with Agile and/or hybrid development methodologies in large-scale engineering programs
- PMP certification is preferred
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desired
