Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead project team through schedules and deliverables.
  • Track project costs daily and perform end of project reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with finance on accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing.
  • Work with legal on contract terms and conditions.
  • Review customer specifications and contract requirements.
  • Manage customer documentation and internal communications.
  • Coordinate material requirements and approve vendor selections.
  • Serve as the main interface for projects with customers and internally.
  • Deploy Field Service Technicians to jobsites ensuring customer needs are met.

Full Job Description
The Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required to support business operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining supplier relationships, controlling costs, supporting inventory requirements, and ensuring uninterrupted production. The Buyer works with minimal supervision, handles complex purchasing challenges, and serves as a key resource to internal stakeholders while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.

What Will You Do?

  • Responsible for directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead project team and technical disciplines through project schedule and required deliverables.
  • Daily tracking of project costs and end of project reconciliation
  • Coordinate with finance group on accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing
  • Coordinate with legal regarding contract terms and conditions
  • Review and interpret customer specifications and contract requirements
  • Manage customer and internal documentation
  • Coordinate material and purchasing requirements and approve vendor selections
  • Main customer & internal interface point for projects
  • Coordinate Field Service Technicians' deployment to jobsites and meeting customer needs/expectations.


Your Experience Should Be...

  • Associates degree or higher or 8 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years project management experience, in a construction environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with rapid prioritization
  • Management level communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, etc.
