Project Manager / Environmental Engineer - North of 60 Monitoring
Multiple Locations & Project Sites
Reports to: Operations Manager of North of 60 Monitoring
Department: North of 60 (N60) Monitoring
We9re looking for a Project Manager / Environmental Engineer to support environmental monitoring, assessment, and remediation projects across Western and Northern Canada. This role is ideal for an environmental professional with experience managing or coordinating smaller-scale projects who is looking to continue building their project management and technical experience in a safety focused, team-oriented environment.
What You9ll Do
b7 Coordinate environmental projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, reporting, and project documentation
b7 Support environmental monitoring, remediation, and sampling programs in both office and field settings
b7 Work closely with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and field crews to support safe and successful project delivery
b7 Assist with proposals, cost estimates, work plans, and project tracking
b7 Participate in and oversee field activities, including site inspections, environmental sampling, and compliance monitoring
b7 Promote safe work practices and support strong communication across project teams
Who You Are
b7 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, monitoring, reclamation, or related project work
b7 Experience coordinating or managing smaller-scale environmental projects
b7 Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline
b7 Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
b7 Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively within project teams
b7 Professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Ag., P.Geo., RPBio., or equivalent is considered a strong asset
What You Need
b7 Ability and willingness to travel frequently to remote project sites across the North
b7 Valid driver9s license
b7 Ability to perform physically demanding field work in varying outdoor conditions
b7 First Aid and WHMIS/TDG certifications (or willingness to complete training provided by KBL)
