Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of construction from pre-construction to completion, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule.
  • Prepare timely and accurate billings for owners and ensure subcontractor payments are made on time.
  • Communicate professionally with owners and architects, advocating for the company's best interests.
  • Monitor and forecast project cost reports to ensure alignment with estimates and maintain cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings for internal and external stakeholders to support team development and progress.
  • Submit project reports to the Area Manager, highlighting project progress and risks that need escalation.
  • Compile comprehensive project health and safety statistics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Full Job Description
You as a Project Manager (Building Group) will:
  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project's cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team's ongoing development and progression
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated
  • Effectively compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly project health and safety statistics

  • You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software
