Role Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of Elcon and EFab's Low Earth Orbit (LEO) customer programs. This role serves as the primary day-to-day customer interface while coordinating activities across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing. The TPM drives program execution, schedule adherence, supply chain performance, and issue resolution to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Scope & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interface (Execution-Focused)
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customers.
  • Lead weekly customer status meetings and provide updates on schedules, risks, actions, and deliverables.
  • Track and manage customer requests, priorities, and program changes.
  • Escalate commercial, contractual, and significant technical issues to leadership asrequired.
  • Maintain professional and consistent customer communications.

Program Execution & Coordination
  • Develop,maintain, and update program schedules, milestones, action trackers, and riskregisters.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignmentonpriorities and deliverables.
  • Drive accountability and closure of open actions and issues.
  • Support internal and customer program reviews through clear, data-driven reporting.
  • Identifyexecution risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.


  • Monitor key performance indicators related to schedule, quality, and delivery.

Supply Chain Coordination
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance andidentifypotential supply risks.
  • Support materialexpeditingactivities and shortage resolution efforts.
  • Maintain visibility of long-lead materials and capacity constraints.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted program execution.

Operations & Factory Alignment
  • Partner with operations leadership to align production schedules and customer priorities.
  • Track work-in-process (WIP), yield, throughput, and production performance against plan.
  • Coordinate recovery plans for schedule delays, quality issues, or production disruptions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) builds andtransitioninto volume production.

Engineering Coordination
  • Track engineering deliverables associated withprogrammilestones.
  • Support execution of engineering change orders (ECOs), qualificationactivities, and first article inspections.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering and manufacturing teams to ensuretimelyissue resolution.
  • Ensure technical changes are effectively communicated and implemented.

General Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned dutiesin accordance withdocumented procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and program performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, regulatory, ISO, and ITAR requirements.


Deliverables
  • Weekly program status reportsincludingschedule, risks, actions, and recovery plans.
  • Updated program schedules and milestone trackers.
  • Risk and issue logs with documented mitigationactions.
  • Customer communication summaries and follow-up actions.
  • Presentation materials for internal and customer reviews.
  • Supply chain and material status reports.


Work Experience & Skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fieldrequired.

Experience
  • 3-7 years of experience in program management, project coordination, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management.
  • Experience within aerospace, space, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or other high-mix manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and production programs strongly preferred.

Skills / Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
  • Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and data analysis.


  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and change control processes.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management and issue resolution methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to move throughout manufacturing and warehouse environments as needed.
