Senior Project Manager**Future Opportunity**CSEngineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team! This role will provide senior-level project oversight and strategic leadership across complex logistics, distribution, and supply chain programs in a government environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive project management experience, a deep understanding of defense logistics distribution operations, and a proven ability to develop and execute strategies that drive budget, schedule, and performance goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- The Senior Project Manager will serve as the on-site senior lead, providing strategic direction and full contract performance authority while acting as the principal liaison between contractor personnel and government leadership.
- Carry out established planning, budgeting, and program execution functions for designated projects to ensure all deliverables meet performance requirements and objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to attain budget, schedule, and performance goals across a multitude of varying, complex projects managed simultaneously
- Apply expertise and experience in defense logistics distribution operations to drive operational efficiency and mission support
- Serve as the principal point of contact between the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Contracting Officer (KO), and corporate management on all contract performance matters
- Demonstrate excellent communication and facilitation skills across all levels of government and contractor leadership
- Manage project scope, schedule, and resource changes through structured change control processes
- Maintain and attain professional certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) throughout the period of performance
- Prepare and deliver program status reporting, briefings, and documentation to government leadership as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSecurity Clearance: DSS approved facility clearance required- Bachelor's or master's Degree in program/project management, engineering, logistics, distribution or supply chain management, finance, or business administration/management
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - must be maintained throughout the period of performance
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in program/project management, engineering, logistics, distribution or supply chain management, finance, or business administration/management disciplines
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in defense logistics and distribution operations
- Proficiency with the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and lead teams in a complex, multi-project government environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Prior experience supporting DLA Distribution or similar defense logistics support contracts
- Experience managing CONUS and OCONUS logistics support operations
- Familiarity with government contract performance management and COR/KO coordination
Location: Harrisburg, PA with potential CONUS and OCONUS travel as required
