Overview

At Danis, we’re more than just managers; we're passionate builders. With a dedicated focus on the craft, our Project Managers are assigned to just one, or at most two, projects at a time. This ensures they're not stretched thin across various responsibilities, allowing for a balanced workload and a deep commitment to each project's success.

Responsibilities

As a Danis Project Manager you’ll:

 

Lead with Vision: Establish project objectives and standards, collaborate with our Project Executive, and ensure projects align with corporate policies.

Execute Excellence: Oversee project construction to deliver on design, budget, and schedule, taking full accountability for project completion and customer satisfaction.

Guide & Mentor: Lead project meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, and mentor and develop project engineers.

Demonstrate Financial Mastery: Manage cost control, billings, change management, and cash flows, maximizing profitability and building valuable client relationships.

Ensure Safety & Compliance: Implement safety programs, maintain meticulous project documentation, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion while mitigating schedule impacts.

Qualifications

As a Project Manager you’ll bring:

 

Educational Background: A four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience: A minimum of a 8 years in Project Management, with a focus on at-risk (self-perform) General Contracting, specifically within the healthcare, life sciences, and industrial sectors.

Project Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing on-site, at-risk projects ranging from $5-10 million in the commercial and institutional domains.

Process Proficiency: A comprehensive understanding of project processes and their pivotal role in ensuring project success.

Financial Acumen: The ability to adeptly manage budgets, optimize profitability, and foster enduring relationships to secure future projects.

Critical Thinking: Navigate complex challenges, innovate solutions, and make informed decisions that drive project success.

Working Conditions

Combination of office and field work; many assignments based at on-site project offices

Frequent local travel to job sites, design meetings, and subcontractor coordination sessions

Must be comfortable walking active construction sites in varying weather conditions

Physical activity may include climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), kneeling, crawling, and extended periods of standing or walking
