CEIS | Power is seeking a Project Manager to support one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Role Overview

  • PM II/III responsible for leading facilities and operational project initiatives from initiation through closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and stakeholder communications.
  • Supports multiple concurrent projects across business units, partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Role requires a strong blend of project management expertise and facility operations experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of assigned projects including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and status updates to project sponsors and leadership.
  • Coordinate project resources, staffing, vendor relationships, procurement activities, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project performance and recommend schedule, budget, or resource adjustments as needed.
  • Direct cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality, reliability, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Provide regular communication and reporting to stakeholders regarding project risks, milestones, and overall progress.

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

  • Program Manager II: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field plus five (5) years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling nine (9) years.
  • Program Manager III: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field plus eight (8) years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling twelve (12) years.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience defining and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and project delivery.
  • PMP ideal or Facilities Management Professional certification.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Copilot.

Preferred / Valuable Background

  • PMP certification preferred for PM II and required for PM III.
  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification.
  • Facility operations experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in ambiguous environments.

Role Logistics

  • Pay Rate (must match level submitted):
    • Project Manager II: $45 - 50/hour
    • Project Manager III: $60 - 65/hour
  • Work Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004, Phoenix, AZ 85021
  • Work Model: Hybrid/Flex, onsite Tuesdays at CHQ and Thursdays
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Travel: Local travel to job site
  • Contract Length: 12 months with possibility of extension
