About this role
Automated Logic is seeking Project Manager for mission-critical/data center projects in Pasadena, Texas. The ideal candidate has strong project management expertise, develops plans and budgets, identifies and resolves project issues, documents delays, performs critical path analysis, and delivers progress reports. Responsibilities include improving communication with clients and field teams, analyzing test results to solve design or system problems, and developing specialized product knowledge for diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects i.e., follow project processes and provide direction to Project Team
- Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction
- Forecasts project revenues and re-estimates project costs on a monthly basis to monitor costs and to maximize project profitability.
- Assist with managing and tracking the overall financial performance of projects i.e., project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projects
- Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules.
- Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders upon scope creep
- Coordinate project materials; use shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any problems
- Build relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any matters
- Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 20lbs
- Ability to be insured for driving company vehicles or personal vehicle on company behalf
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management in the Construction, HVAC, or Building Automation field.
- Experience with building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
