Full Job Description
This position reports to:
ELSE Regional Manager Americas

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

The work model for the role is remote #LI-Remote

This role is contributing to the Electrification Service Division.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Field, and up to 5 year of relevant experience; or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Project management experience required. PMP is nice to have.
  • Strong communicator and team-oriented mind set.
  • Ability to manage multi-projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Must have a strong reputation for customer focus.
  • Must be familiar and have practical experience with SAP, MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office software.
  • Must be able to read Engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
  • Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all environmental regulations.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually.
