Role OverviewSodexo Energy and Resource is seeking an experienced
Project Manager 2 - Construction to work with one of our construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in
Houston, TX. This position functions asa key member of the Design and Construction management team. This
Project Manager 2 - Construction will collaborate with a team of project managers who will oversee capital project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled throughout the design, construction, and implementation phases.
What You'll Do- Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects.
- Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes.
- Actively pursue additional work through change orders.
- Perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance.
- Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required.
- Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
- Attend and lead job progress meetings as required.

What You Bring- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience within new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and working in critical environments preferred
- Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment) as well as MS project, Procore and Bluebeam preferred
- OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire)
- Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes
Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity within construction
