Project Management Specialist India Training Services

The Boeing Company BGS International Government and Defense organization is seeking an India Training Services Project Management Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.

The selected candidate will report to the P-8 International Training Program Manager.  In this role, the individual will interact primarily with India Training Program Manager, Boeing India Defence Private Limited (BIDPL) and with a wide variety of organizations and business units such as the BGS Government Training Engineering (GTE), Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS), Boeing Global Sales and Marketing (GS&M), and suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • As an individual contributor and technical liaison for BIDPL, this candidate would coordinate with TBC stakeholders to align with the request raised by India Program to sustain operations, analyse suitable hardware/capability improvements, as well as the procurement and delivery efforts in line with any applicable export controls
  • Coordinate for the resolution effort to minimize the negative impact on objectives laid out by India Program
  • Through collaboration and frequent communication with India Program, will discuss with the TBC counterparts for the technical analysis of high failure items, recurring system issues, technical queries, obsolete items, and opportunities to mitigate them
  • Understand program goals, both from India Program, as well as the implementation of process improvements using a unique understanding of the India devices and the processes/applications needed to satisfy them. Such processes and applications include, but are not limited to: Bessy, NRTS, GOLD, SAP, CMPro, CAPRS, CAMVIS, Project, EVM, Procurement channels, drawing changes, sanitization procedures, and others to facilitate replacement/repair/warranty/RMA activities
  • Would serve as the primary contact for India Program to resolve day-to-day issues, efforts, and improvements
  • Aid and direct follow-on site deliveries of new or repaired hardware, capabilities, and enhancements based on contractual obligations and as requested raised by India Program
  • Assist in the development of project plans and schedules
  • Monitor, integrate and communicate the project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management and decisions to TBC stakeholders
  • Perform project management activities in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO-standards)
  • Serve as a liaison between India program and TBC team for planning, scheduling, and line management for the operational aspects of training

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Program / Project management, on international Programs
  •  Aviation industry experience
  • Experience working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors or suppliers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent military experience
  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices
  • Experience working with international customers
  • Experience with Bessy, NRTS, GOLD, CMPro, CAPRS, SAP and CAMVIS
