DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Project ManagementManager 3 professionalto join our diverse and talented engineering organization in support of realizing our vision of making World Class Program Managers. This position is an onsite opportunity located in Melbourne, FL.
As a leader in our Program Health and Enablement (PH&E) organization, you will be responsible for developing, planning and managing projects. The successful candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, and a background in project management. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with experienced Aeronautics Systems sector Program Management and functional teams to meet the needs of Program Health and Enablement.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of Program Health & Enablement(PH&E), within the Program Execution and Growth Organization
- Serve as liaison between PH&E, division, sector and corporate teams and ensures left to right project planning and ensure theorganization priorities are executed
- Ensure review panels are staffed with appropriate skill set Subject Matter Experts and that the participants are trained and prepared to participate incorporate, sector or program reviews.
- Works to organize projects such asProgram Startup Reviews, Non-Advocate Reviews/Independent Cost Estimates, Independent Review Teams,training schedules, and venues, as well as supporting all planning details
- Facilitate the reviews as needed
- Develop accountability model for closed loop action items and review closure, including but not limited to action item tracking tool,communication and closure management, and requirements.
- Assess/review action items and data themes to drive desired outcomes

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 8 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience would include project/program management, program proposal development and execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
- Active U.S Government Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access within a reasonable time as determined by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in project management
- Experience with planning, developing, coordinating, and executing large events
- Demonstrated experience applying Program Management processes (e.g., Program Planning, Requirements Management, Supplier Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Cost & Schedule Management, Change Management, Performance Management, and Program Closeout) and incorporating them into training content and exercises.
- Current PMP certification
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
- Proficiency in tracking/reporting tools/dashboards such as JIRA and TABLEAU
- Experience supporting, building, and promoting a positive and collaborative culture across cross-functional teams
- Experience applying Lean-Agile practices on a project team
- Active Top Secret and/or Special Access clearance or the ability to obtain Top Secret and/or Special Access Clearance within a reasonable time as determined by business needs
Primary Level Salary Range: $137,800.00 - $206,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
