Your role at a glance
The Senior Project Manager, Commercial & Capital Governance is responsible for managing the end-to-end administrative and operational execution of deal governance capital project approval processes. This role ensures the smooth running of governance forums, maintains discipline across deal/project workflows, and provides consistent, high-quality support to stakeholders across sales, bid management, finance, investments, construction, including functional SMEs and executive governance bodies.

The role is highly execution-focused, requiring strong attention to detail, stakeholder coordination, and rigorous tracking of governance progress, actions, and documentation.

What we are looking for

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance Forum Management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of governance forums (e.g. executive review boards and steering committees).
  • Prepare, coordinate, and publish meeting agendas and supporting materials.
  • Take comprehensive meeting minutes and distribute them in a timely manner.
  • Capture, track, and actively follow up on all actions and decisions.


Intake & Submission Management
  • Manage the intake and submission process for projects entering the governance framework.
  • Review all intake documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Coordinate revisions and ensure all required changes are incorporated.
  • Prepare and consolidate submissions for head office / executive-level approvals.


Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as the central liaison between governance forums and key stakeholders across functions (sales, finance, investments, legal, delivery).
  • Ensure alignment on timelines, requirements, and deliverables for each project submission.
  • Support clear and consistent communication across all participants in the governance process.


Action Tracking & Project Lifecycle Management
  • Track all in-flight projects through the governance process from intake to reviews & approvals (multiple) to closure.
  • Maintain structured logs of project status, risks, issues, and key milestones.
  • Proactively identify delays or gaps and drive follow-up actions to resolution.


Governance Repository & Documentation
  • Maintain the centralized governance repository.
  • Ensure all documentation, approvals, and records are properly stored and version-controlled.
  • Maintain full auditability of governance decisions and approvals.


Reporting & Insights
  • Maintain and produce governance reporting, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Provide visibility into project pipeline, approvals status, and key risks/issues.
  • Support executive reporting requirements for governance forums.


Templates & Process Maintenance
  • Maintain, update, and continuously improve governance intake templates and documentation standards.
  • Ensure alignment with governance policies, approval thresholds, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive standardization and quality across all governance artefacts.


KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or work experience required.
  • Possession of a PMP and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Seasoned experience working in a similar position in a global organization.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years in project management, PMO, governance, or deal desk operations.
  • Experience supporting executive-level forums and structured governance processes.
  • Exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder deal environments (e.g. infrastructure, technology, or large capital projects).
  • Proficiency in governance tracking tools (logs, RAID registers, action trackers)
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to review and validate structured business documentation (intake forms, deal summaries)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Perform work during US business hours and time zones.


WORK CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Some Travel required.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.


Compensation Pay Range

"This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $131,800.00 - $188,300.00.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
