Salary Range: $84,000.00 to $107,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Manage and oversee the Logistics Technical Data (LTD) Manual Change Request (MCR) / Technical Manual Deficiency Evaluation Report (TMDER) process and function as program Technical Manual (TM) manager.
Manage the day to day coordination of the MCR/TMDER program in accordance with all NAVSEA, company and department directives.
Concentrating in on-time delivery to support Submarine Modernization Availabilities.
o Successful daily interaction with internal and external customers.
o Ensure quality of all MCR/TMDER and LTD related products.
o Track and manage budget expenditures associated with the program.
o Manage weekly and monthly reports for our internal and external stakeholders.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience


Nice to Have

  • The successful candidate will be involved in the development of Process Improvements that potentially improve efficiency and reduce cost of planning yard work.
  • They will also have the opportunity to support Audits, Procedure Development, and the capture and integration.
  • Experience in the areas of strategic planning, project leadership, and interfacing directly with the Navy Customer preferred.
  • Applicant must have good analytical, written / verbal communication, decision making and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of basic hull, mechanical, & electrical equipment and related information about the ship is also desired.
  • A self-starter with SUBSAFE experience and experience with procedures and audits is also desired.
