The Role
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. DDG1000 Program management responsibilities: This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and tracking subcontracted work to ensure schedule adherence, quality, and cost. This is a waterfront position, requiring daily engagement in Plan of the Day (POD) meetings to align subcontractor activities with overall production priorities. This role serves as the primary interface between subcontractors and internal departments, proactively removing roadblocks that cause delays to subcontractor activities. The coordinator will develop and review Statement of Work (SOWs), and build and maintain progress plans.
Must Have
High School Diploma and 14 years of experience

Nice to Have
Program and/or Project management, planning/engineering experience. The preferred candidate has intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft tools, and an understanding of earned value. Additionally the preferred candidate has experience in understanding contractual documentation, purchase specifications, configuration management, metrics analysis, budgeting, ability to multi-task; good communication and analytical skills; and skilled in the development of worksheets, charts, graphs, and presentations using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications. Experience and ability to interact with all levels of management across the value stream, as well as external customers is preferred.
