Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing facilities projects in an institutional setting.
• Knowledge of capital project planning, design, construction, and procurement processes.
• Expertise in project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Manager, Planning and Projects and oversee smaller facilities projects.
• Provide leadership and direction to work teams, contractors, and consultants on a project basis.
• Manage project planning, design, implementation, and communications.
• Ensure compliance with current codes, bylaws, and regulations during project execution.
• Supervise and mentor assigned staff involved in project tasks.
• Maintain project timelines and respond to changing priorities.
• Pay close attention to detail throughout project lifecycles.
