Moog's Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Project Engineer to support our Test Systems Engineering team for a hybrid opportunity in East Aurora, NY.

As a Project Engineer, you'll lead the charge in designing and developing hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic systems that ensure the reliability and performance of Moog's world-class products. As a Project Engineer, you will:
  • Spearhead cross-functional teams through Moog's proven development process, delivering state-of-the-art test systems on time and within budget.
  • Create and validate specialized test equipment, from conceptual trade studies to detailed designs, ensuring top-tier performance for military aircraft applications.
  • Partner with drafters, technicians, designers, analysts, manufacturing engineers, and program managers to bring your designs to life.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals while providing facilitative leadership to ensure seamless execution.
  • Leverage your expertise to coordinate procurement, assembly, and system integration while maintaining a sharp focus on quality and innovation.


To be considered for this role, here is what's typically required:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience or, a MS Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and developing complex electromechanical hardware, with a focus on verification testing.
  • A track record of project leadership or a strong desire to take on technical leadership roles.
  • Ability to think critically, perform trade studies, and deliver innovative solutions under tight schedules.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $100,000.00-$135,000.00 Annually
