Full Job Description
Position Overview: Green Water and Power is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer manages the technical and daily operational aspects of engineering, manufacturing, or construction projects. The Project Engineer acts as the vital link between big-picture project managers and on-site field teams, ensuring work stays on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety codes.

Duties and Requirements:

  • Professional exemption
  • EV and PV system design; including creating full plan sets using AutoCAD
  • Ensuring project compliance with electrical code, utility, and rebate program requirements.
  • Monitor EV charger and PV system production
  • Site Audits and reviews
  • Electrical equipment knowledge
  • Photo metric lighting design
  • Indoor lighting design/Title 24
  • Submittal designs for permits to utility companies.
  • Single line diagram
  • ETOP software
  • Voltage drop calculation
  • Wire size and Conduit
  • CB sizing working clearance


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or any related financial field of study
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.
  • Demonstratable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:
  • AutoCAD
  • Load study and calculation
  • Fault Current Analysis
  • Medium voltage sub-station designer
  • Implementing renewable energy systems
  • Solar System Design
  • NEC Code knowledge

Location:

  • Reports to Chatsworth, CA. No work from home (WFH) benefit available
