Lead the growth of one of Canada's most critical infrastructure sectors. As Project Director - Hydropower and Dams (Western Canada), you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, strengthening client partnerships, and delivering impactful projects that support resilient, sustainable energy systems across Western Canada.

This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise fuels business growth, guides complex project delivery, and contributes to a national vision for the future of hydropower and dam infrastructure.

This position will, ideally, be based out of one of our Western offices, ideally, Calgary or Vancouver.

Your Impact
  • Be the Project Director on major infrastructure dams and hydropower projects
  • Provide overall leadership and governance for major projects and programs
  • Mentor major Project Managers
  • Establish project vision, objectives, execution strategies, and success criteria.
  • Ensure effective coordination among engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, and stakeholder teams.
  • Lead project steering committees and executive review meetings.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain client relationship at the project level
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and strategic growth.
  • Manage high-level commercial and contractual discussions.
  • Be accountable for project profitability, revenue, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Approve significant project expenditures and change orders.
  • Ensure effective risk and opportunity management.
  • Oversee winning pursuit strategies, proposals, and client presentations across multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with national sector leaders to participate in implementation and execute strategic growth plans
  • Identify resource needs, support recruitment efforts, and help build a high-performing regional team
  • Foster a strong team culture by promoting engagement, collaboration, and professional development

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 - $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 - $176,900
